Tel Aviv – is the first Jewish town in Israel. It was founded in 1909 as a suburb of the Old City of Jaffa and it was called than “Achuzat Bait”, meaning the “patio of the house”. It was quickly developed from a suburb of few new houses to a city and was called Tel Aviv, the Hebrew translation to the book of Herzl “Alt Neu land” – meaning the Old-New Land.
